With extensive reserves, Dillon’s deposit is one of the purest dolomite deposits in the USA, and we have provided consistent, high-quality, glass-grade dolomite to the float glass industry for decades. Our fine-grained DOLO-GLASS reduces energy costs and extends furnace life.
Highly stable with consistent chemical properties, our dolomite is known to have one of the lowest decrepitation rates in the country. In addition our chemical testing laboratory continually monitors consistency and quality using an X-ray (XRF) machine. Archived statistics demonstrate our dolomite meets the most stringent specifications.
