No-skid Overview
Dillon provides high-quality, non-polishing aggregates for use in emulsified asphalt slurry seal, micro surfacing, chip seal and asphalt applications. Our products are very dense allowing low absorption of moisture and chemicals. That low absorption, coupled with cubically shaped particles, provide higher strengths and performance for the mix. We also maintain consistent gradation to ensure your application is within specification.
Hi-Sil is available in Type C according to Section 202 of Virginia’s Department of Transportation’s Road and Bridges Specifications. It is also available in VDOT #8 but can be customized for other applications.
