CRIBPAC®
Mine roof support system for longwall recovery rooms and roof support under extreme pressure
CRIBPAC® Overview
Dillon’s patented CRIBPAC mine roof support system is used in the coal mining industry for longwall recovery rooms and for roof support. CRIBPAC has been NIOSH-tested to support up to 450 tons with a single column. CRIBPACS are constructed using fiber reinforced concrete donut cribs and are preassembled at the factory for quick and efficient installation underground, saving time and money. Each CRIBPAC has wooden lift handles and internal load transfer discs to ensure even load distribution. They are available in three configurations (4-high, 5-high and 6-high) and can be stacked for various height requirements. CRIBPACS are mineable, allowing the longwall to cut into the recovery room for quicker teardown and moving.
